Reunion is a collection of video and audio portraits of contemporary visual artists suspended in time, as they verbally reflect on themselves as a teenager while visually merging with a photograph of themselves from that time period. Each participant was asked to re-create the pose they took as a teenager and hold it for an extended period of time on video. This nearly static video image slowly merges with the photographic image of their younger self, suspending the portrait between past and present. The project is designed to be continued in whichever community it is exhibited.
